Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

My wife received a text message saying you have been approved for up to $5000 in a loan. I called back and everything sounded great, the representative Michael Brown asked me to go to Walmart and get a Walmart money card and he would deposit money in my account. I told him to cancel the application and he said I can’t because the money has already been released. He said that my credit and social security number would be affected if I didn’t continue the process. I did this twice and he asked me to do it a third time, I’m not going there anymore because I contacted the FDIC department and they said ignore him, it’s a scam. I never received any contract or paperwork for an electronic signature of any kind, he said this would be done after the loan was deposited into my account. This has been very time consuming and has been stressful. He continues to harass me over this loan. The conversation is attached via text.
