Type of a scam Online Purchase

As I was browsing for sites, looking for a puppy I came across this 2 cute maltese for adoption, the website is eclassifieds3u.com, since the person have left her contact number I texted her and inquire about the dogs. She messaged me the following day and said that they are still available and the reason that she wanted them to get adopted is because she’s getting a kidney transplant and can no longer take care of them. Conversation when on and on and finally I agreed to just transport the puppies since it’s all the way to winnipeg and I’m in toronto. The person said that the registration is done, and to check my email for final confirmation since I will pay for the transportation which is I have no problem of doing so. Since I didn’t get the e-mail, she said that she have a copy of it and sent me a link, also gave me a link where I can e-transfer my money instead. Sure enough, my Info is there and so her name, phone number and address. Next thing happened is the Cargo where the puppies would be called me, and said that I needed to confirm first and pay and a link again where to e-transfer my money, amount is roughly around $520 according to the person I texted with. It made me think twice about the link when a cargo company texted me and sending me a link to where to e-transfer my money. I search online about the website they gave me if it’s a scam website and sure enough it was! This is the first time this ever happened to me and I almost fell for it! They stop texting me when I said I found their website and said that they are a scammer.
