Type of a scam Investment

I got a call from a silver broker. He was very forceful and I reluctantly agreed to invest money and also to "leverage" the investment through a loan. The idea was that The proceeds from the investment would outperform the loan. I called several times when the investment was not performing well. He encouraged me to stick with it although I had the feeling that I could not have gotten the investment back if I wanted. The last couple of times I tried to reach him, he did not return my calls. After sending an email, he did call to notify me that my silver had been sold and I had no balance in the account. I had no other communication on this to let me know my investment was in jeopardy so I cnnot send an image of anything I received as I heard it over the phone.
