Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

I received a fax at my job asking if there is anyone who could be nominated to be included on the list of Women of distinction for 2020. An outstanding person who has contributed to the betterment of others. I filled out the form nominating myself. I was contacted later (this month) 3/2020. By the Director Julie *** who stated I have won and I will be included in the book for the state of California. I will receive a copy of the book, a plaque with my accolades, 2 airplane tickets to anywhere in the United States. She then congratulated me and told me if I wanted the a copy of the book it would cost me $499.50 and the plaque is $299.50. But she would give me a discount for both at $599.75. When I suggested she wait until my next payday she reduced the price for all to $399.50 because my story is so amazing!! I went so far as to call my bank while she waited on speaker to transfer money to my checking account from my savings account. Just before I started to give her my card info. Somthing stopped me (a thought), that I really don’t know this person and hi should Google this and check it out. I told her as much and suggested thst I give het a call right back after. Julie attempted to reduce the price more stating this is the deadline I have to pay today and this is the same company that I returned the fax to. I then realized this is a big scam I told well that’s too bad because I can’t just give you my personal banking info and card number until I am able to research the Women of Distinction organisation. I said so just forget about it. After hanging up. I received 2 more calls from her however I didn’t answer and I thanked God for my intuition of not giving her my information and actually paying the money. Now I have read complaints from others and I truly believe somthing must be done about the Women of Distinction and Julie. Stop her from scamming people especially seniors like myself at 68 years old. Thank you so much for listening.
