Type of a scam COVID-19

This company sent an email disguised as a special offer for being a loyal Kroger customer for health and wellness to support my family during the Covid 19. Due to my status as a preferred customer, I could choose from one of several FREE gifts. I chose the CBD oil and creme – the only charge mentioned was a one time fee of $6.99 for shipping and handling for each product (which oddly arrived in the same package) so not sure why there were 2 charges. There was no mention of this being a "trial Offer" and if not cancelled, new charges would occur withing X amount of days. My card was charged $85 for the creme and $91 for the oil – my bank flagged the charges as suspected fraudulent activity and alerted me. I made several attempts to contact the company, once I spoke to someone, they would put me on hold and then never come back. On my 3rd call, I spoke to Nina (supposedly the supervisor) who cancelled my subscription and agreed to refund 60% of the pending ($91 charge). I called Kroger and they have no affiliation with this company so they are using Kroger without permission. I can find nothing legitimate online about any of these companies or products. I don’t plan to use the "Free" products I received because who knows what is actually in them.
