Type of a scam Phishing

I was lured in by this companies ad on Instagram supposedly endorsed by Jessica Alba. They were offering a free trial of thier beauty creams all for the cost of 5.95 shipping. I received the products but two months later was charged $95 for an eye serum I did not order. I called the company phone number and disputed the order which was followed by them hanging up on me. I tried doing a charge back with my credit card company and in the dispute they presented a fake order receipt. I will continue to fight this. Plz beware of the scammers!

Placed an order with Via Beauty for one product for $5+, then they suggested to add another for another $5+. The products were a Hydration Restore Skin Cream and a Restore and Replenish Eye Serum. This was a promotional and thought this was all I would have to pay. I looked high and low before submitting my order to make sure it was not an automatic renewal. Turned out they made it an automatic renewal and instead of paying $5+ per item, they charged around $90 for one item and at least $100 for the other item. I failed to use a Paypal account, so I have to get a new credit card and our credit union can cancel the automatic renewal order, but I’m only able to get back 35 % of the total cost at present with the possibility of getting it all back in spurts over a year or so. When my credit union did some calling, one location was in CO and another in CA, and on both product containers, it was distributed in Phoenix, AZ, and the people who answered in CO and CA seemed like they were from Jamaica. Since I felt the entire order was going to be around $11.00, I feel the loss is around $189.00 posted below. I also listed AZ as the state below since I personally don’t have CO or CA addresses. My credit union, CEFCU, actually has this. My husband was the one who talked with them. One of life’s lessons learned once again, this time about the scam company, Via Beauty..

I tried a "trial" of the skin cream and eye cream in May 2020. These were supposed to be free during their time period. They sent me another bottle of each. I called their 888 number above the day I received the skin cream. The customer service person explained that I can return the items but before 6/25/20 but should wait for the eye cream and send them both together "with one return address and one RMA#" (like a return number). I received the eye cream on Monday. I just called them, twice and they refused to help me or let me speak to a supervisor. Said that I am passed that trial period and they have already charged my credit card. What a scam. Now when I call they refuse to let me speak to supervisor. Agent Selena #318, Agent Shaneese #435.

Beware! this company is a scam!

I ordered nothing from the company, who’s actual registered business name is *** *********** Shortly after traveling I noticed some strange charges on my bank account that had little info about the purchase…i looked more into this and found 6 transactions each for slightly different amounts. all and all these transactions added up to just over $400. I immediately cancelled my business card, and contacted my bank. the bank urged me to reach out to the company directly.

again I had no Info regarding this company until my bank shared the name and phone number with me.

this company (via Beauty) is a complete scam.

they claim to sell a beauty product, However, I not authorize any purchases from them, nor did any product ever get sent to me.

… how is this company still going?

I have spoken to someone at their so called customer service but they will not transfer me to a manger or refund me my money.

each time i am told the upper management will call me back in 24 -48 hours….or sometimes 10 business days. This never happens.

Even the tracking number the customer service rep gave me was not real.

They send you in a circle and I have gotten no answers or help getting my money returned to me.

I paid shipping for a free trial of this product, however, the company stated nothing about paying full price and being automatically enrolled 2 weeks later. The two items I receive are trial size, not full size. I was surprised with a $200 charge and have not received any additional products. I was never made aware that I would be charged and automatically enrolled.
