Received a call from a female at this number 888-218-2582 stating that she was from Verizon Fraud Prevention Department. Never once identified her name. Tried to get me to verify my credit card info. When I asked her to verify that she was actually calling from Verizon she stated that she was going to send me a text showing me that someone by the name of Charley Grey used my account to purchase 4 telephones. She hung up and instead when I thought she was going to send The text but when I called back the number was reported as disconnected. This number also does not match Verizon ‘s phone number. Beware. Could be more than one person behind this but A female was on the line. Verizon and authorities were contacted and report filed.
