Type of a scam Identity Theft

First of all, I have received NUMEROUS phone calls from this place, but EACH number shows up differently as I block them after I get them! If I answer, some will ask for me by name, and I ask who is calling, they start rambling about my warranty for my 200? Toyota expiring. I have angrily replied multiple times that "I do not own a Toyota, never have, and for them to remove my number from their call list!"

Normally, if I call back, there is some weird music playing for a while and I just end up hanging up.

But just today, I received another one and did not answer but they left a voice message. It was "Brittany" calling about my extended warranty for my Toyota and left the 1-800-280-6708 number to call back, urgent!.

So I did and after a little bit of weird music, a lady answered as Vehicle Warranty Dept, or something along that line! So I proceeded to tell her that her company continues to call me and I do not and have never owned a Toyota and I have repeatedly asked to be removed from their call list but they are not abiding!

I honestly do not know what kind of a scam this is, but I know that Thugs out there are continuously conjuring up new ones on a daily basis! But this one is on my last nerve!! Also, I am in Texas, I have no idea where these Thugs are calling from!
