Type of a scam Employment

was contacted by Mason Bell of Vega Solar System LLC said he found my resume on a employment website and offered me a job and to fill out an employment contract giving driver’s license and a bank account to transfer salary to. Salary is $3800 a month plus 5% commission on equipment I sell. Said I was an independent contractor and that if I pass 30 day probationary period I would get $3800 for the month and thereafter. He called several times over a few days and did an interview and said he would send me an email with some kind of information needed to join the company. Haven’t heard from him yet and must be a scam of some kind. Company not on ScamPulse.com website or SEC.gov website either. Had an accent of some type probably arab.
