Type of a scam Phishing

I was not able to collect this person’s name but am fully sure that the male individual who called was Asian. He spoke to me in an aggressive way demanding that he wanted to speak to someone by the name of Andy. I advised him that there was no one by that name who lived here and told him that he had the wrong number. This person then said he wanted to speak to the homeowner and asked if I was the homeowner. I informed this person that he was asking for very personal information that was none of his concerns and then I chose to ask him what the call was regarding. He did not answer me and once again with aggressiveness in the tone of his voice, he asked to speak to Andy and I again advised him that he had the wrong number. That was when he rudely said, "yeah okay whatever bye" and then he hung up. I reported the phone to our local police station who advised me to contact the Canadian Anti – Fraud Centre but their lines are not working and it is now past their operating hours so I will try again tomorrow. It was also suggested that I make a report to you in regards to this telephone call as it could be a vicious scam looking for vulnerable people to pounce on and attack. The number from where the scam originated from has been added to a block list and will not be able to call here anymore. I am reporting this to you for the sake of others as I do not want to hear that someone was a victim of another scam.
