Type of a scam Phishing

I received an email from this company saying my " annual maintenance contract" was expiring and would automatically be renewed. And to call the number to cancel. I have never heard of this company . So I called. The phone was answered by someone with a very Indian accent in a very loud noisy call center. When I asked what this was about he said I had paid $200 and something back in 2017. And then started in on a sales speech When I interrupted him telling him I never purchased anything He started asking for my personal contact information. I told him I would not be giving him any info He hung up on me. This same thing happened twice. On the 3rd time I called he said I would have to go to a website enter my info then hit cancel my contract. When I told him I was not going to any website and definately not giving them any information he said he couldn’t help me and I would be charged. He couldn’t tell me how much. When I told him I believed this to be a scam and would be reporting it he became very condescending. When that tactic didn’t work you could tell he was way off his written script and he tried to start all over again. I told him to cancel whatever contract he thought I had and I would expect an email verifying its cancellation. They refused to listen when I told them I never signed any contract. The last person said his name was Neil.
