Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

U.S. Trademark Compliance Office sends an invoice for registering a trademark. The invoice mentions real divisions of the US government and portions of the Trademark act. The item on which they offer to register a trademark does not actually exist. They want $495: they will pay the $190 government trademark registration fee. The other $305 is for themselves. The scammer’s name might make you think they are an arm of the US government – they are not. The very small print says they aren’t affiliated with the government and are not a law firm.
