Type of a scam Government Grant

This was a foreign voice middle eastern decent calling from a washing dc number about 6 times yesterday and 3 times this morning. He said I am receiving a grant that will not be taxable because I am a good citizen who hasn’t a criminal record and I pay my taxes etc. Later mentioned how I would receive it through western union but that they are a non government group who have to make money too so it will cost me $250 to get my 9700$. I can go get a bank card right now with 250$ on it and take it to fill out the receiver form at western union and get the money right away. He said it would take me about 10 minutes.

I told him I have to go to work right now and can’t get back to him until about 1:00. He gave me his name Ronny Walker Ext 166 batch is #MR694 and to call him back 4052966026. He tried to tell me I didn’t need to go to work because I would be getting all this money right away. I said but I am meeting people there so I needed to go. I think he said he would check back and he hung up.
