Total money lost $10,000

Type of a scam Tech Support

This person said I had a virus on my computer, since it was a apple laptop I just purchased 4 mo. ago. Bought a antivirus device and he said they installed it and cleaned out the virus. two months later another call received that my computer had more problems detected. He said he would refund my money and go into my computer and clean it up. Then had me go online to my bank acct. to see if the money had been deposited, it had but it was 4,000.00 too much. He said only way he could accept the money back was if I purchased iTunes cards. In total I was out almost 10,000 dollars in iTunes cards. I never heard from him again. A man who said he was from iTunes said why would I purchase such a large sum of iTunes cards. He said it was a scam and not to send any more money to them. He Sid he would return 10,000 dollar back to my checking acct. First I needed to wire him 995.99 and 998.00 to a argue sadder in India. I said no I was not going to do that and told him I would need to call him back. I went and closed my bank acct. and stopped my credit cards. Reopen all accts. with new numbers and passwords. I had my computer laptop looked at by a reputable computer company and they cleaned up my computer and installed a malware virus device. I never heard back from the guy at Apple nor Steve Hayson again. No money had been deposited in my acct. I am now out of nearly 10,000 dollars and have to pay off my credit crds which I charged some of the iTunes cards on. Reported this all to the FBI fraud dept., and my local sheriffs office, and the state district attorneys office.
