Type of a scam Debt Collections
Someone from United Consumers called my cell phone today asking to speak with my mother. I asked what they wanted since my mother does not live here. They said that it was regarding a personal matter and that they would need to speak with her directly or she can give me permission to speak with them. The person’s name was Stacey Scott. The telephone numbers used were 1-800-736-6615 and 703-497-5056. My mother owes no one any money.
