Type of a scam Tax Collection

The message was left on my answering machine yesterday by someone with a heavy foreign accent. He was very demanding, stating that this was a 2nd attempt to contact *** *** (not *** ***) l and continued to say that this was an enforcement call from the U.S. Treasury Department and that if it was ignored that I would face criminal charges and that it would be a Federal offense dealt with by Federal Magistrate. When I looked up the number online, it appears to be a cell phone out of Fresno, CA and the wording of the message mirrors what the BBB listed in October of last year as a scam that was targeting people by trying to bully them into providing personal information and money. I haven’t called the number (559-554-0973) or responded in any way but I wanted to report the incident to authorities.-*** ***
