Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
"You have been selected by Trip Advisor to receive a $999 Vacation" (or something like that). "To obtain details press zero". When you hit zero it’s music (bad line/recording). At that point I rang off.
This happened twice – from 2 different calling numbers (apparently local – 250-727-5875 and 250-727-6559).
When I tried calling back, each time I got a message saying the number was "not in service".
