Type of a scam Travel/Vacations

Received automated call, but I thought I was having cell phone reception issues, so the person asked if I can hear them, so I replied, "yes". After a few seconds, I remembered a recent article I read that said there was a new scam that required customers to say "yes" to authorize purchases, so I hung up the phone. This just happened so I figured I would just report the phone number that showed up on caller ID. No unauthorized charges have occurred yet, but it’s too early to tell.
