Received call from Mike at Transamerica consumers 855-904-7783 ext 0613 on 6-7-16 stating I took out a loan for $484.00 in 2010 in Nebraska through Liberty Group LLC and he would settle with me for $384.00. If I did not make a good faith attempt to pay back they would start proceedings. I advised I did not remember this loan but he had all my banking information, employment address for past six years. I agreed under pressure to pay $192.00 on 6/17/16 and another $192.00 on July 1st 2016. When I asked for proof of me writing this check he could not produce any information but named several check writing agencies of which I do not recognize. I am afraid I am being scammed on this.
