Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I was contacted by email and asked to sign up for a secret shopper position. They sent me a cashier’s check for $3471.22 and detailed instructions on where and how to purchase $3000.00 Google Play cards and then send the activated codes and pictures of the front and back of each card to the email above. The remaining funds of $471.22 were supposed to be my pay. The check is drawn on B*** *** Credit Union. Purchasers name was Shirley W***.
