Type of a scam Online Purchase
Website seemed legit, emailed for more information on westie puppy. They immediately replied and initially it seemed very real but red flags started coming up.
1. The email font changes colors like someone copy and pasted.
2. No name on email.
3. We called to facetime to see the dog they claimed they do not facetime or any other face to face contact.
4. They use Zelle for payment and requested 500 downpayment which conveniently is the max Zelle will accept per transaction.
5. When I called them, the man who picked up did not sound like the people pictured on the website. Plus the email uses poor grammar.
6. When I asked for more pics they said you already got some. I said I want more and he would email them but since then I havent gotten a reply, but responses before then have been very quick. He probably knows that I caught onto him as a scammer.
7. Via email they said if you arent happy when you receive dog you can get a refund. Who wants a refund for a cute puppy?
Please shut this person and website down. Its despicable that he is scamming people especially during these times. He unfortunately has our full name and address plus phone number but nothing more.
