This company calls phone numbers, seemingly at random. The recipient is greeted by an automated message urging the recipient to renew his automotive warranty, and prompts for a response. If an affirmative response is given, the call is transferred to a front-line representative who grooms calls based on four pieces of information provided by the potential customer, namely make, model, year and mileage of car. If responses are given that do not fall within specific parameters (car is too old, too new, too expensive or has mileage that’s too high or too low) the call is immediately dropped with no explanation. Otherwise, the call is transferred to a second level representative who repeats the questions already answered, then proceeds to describe options for coverage of your vehicle. Since no attempt is made to verify any of the information provided about the vehicle (eg. VIN number is not requested, and the caller seems to have no information about the person called, or his car) it is highly likely this is an attempt to gain personal, financial information from people. I have been called many, many times by this company. Every call comes from a different number that, when dialed, appears to reach a completely different company or individual.

My wife received a call from a Little Rock, AR number. The caller said, "This is ______ with the warranty department. Can you hear me OK?" My wife said "Yes" before she realized that it was probably one of the new "Say Yes" phone scams. She then hung up immediately but we don’t really know what to do next.

I get a phone call and the woman on the other end says: "This is the warranty department and we have some very important information about your warranty. Can you hear me ok?" After a pause, when I don’t answer, she says something like "Your warranty is about to expire, would you like more information?"

The Warranty Department called twice on 2/16/2017 at 9:24a and 11:54a.

Allison asked, "Can you hear me?" I answered No" the first time and "That is a stupid name for a company" the second time.

I advised that this number is on the Do No Call Registry, but the recording continued on. I hung up.
