Type of a scam Phishing

Mailed Pornographic material and called in to remove my name from some mailing list from who knows where, only they had the wrong address in their system, but mail had the correct. The address they gave me was incomplete, and when I called back in they gave me a completely different address. The people had broken english from India and I suspect that they send this out to scam people to call in to get more information.
