On 9/19 my screen announced that I was blocked because of a security issue. I was directed to call 1 977 805 1029 to get assistance with my computer. This revolved into a five hour session with half literate English speakers. I asked are you people with Microsoft… O yes we are ..I asked where are you located the reply was New Jersey. The bottom line is the took remote control of my PC and loaded a Malware Program and asked for $199.00 by credit card. I gave ultimately gave them three different card numbers…they couldn’t get them to be valid. When I closed the session I was given an 1 855 533 8893 number t call for further assist…oddly enough they stated their working hours are in PST…not New Jersey. My cards,all have a travel block that stops their validity outside the US without a PIN. So I .intend to deny any form of payment to them…they are posing as your people to run this scam.
