Type of a scam Tech Support

I was installing Microsoft Office and an error message popped up with a phone #. Assuming because it was a Microsoft product – I was calling Microsoft. I was speaking to a guy from ITechBrigade. I found this out when he tried to run my credit card. Luckiiy it would not go through because he was trying to use paypal. He said our network was compromised and stupidly I let him have access to our computer. We had just had two computers die last week so I bought into his spiel. Because I had just got a brand news computer there was nothing on it. He did get my credit card # so I had to put a hold on it. He then told me to send a wire transfer for $649.99 US to TECHBLOOMERS INC. 23-18 239 Street, Bellerose,NY 11426. Thankfully I did not do this. But I am worried about the security of my computer now. *** ***
