Type of a scam Tech Support

*received a call from Nancy from Tech Sheild. Advised me that Tech Sheild was shutting down and I had a balance of (under) 1,000 and then corrected the amount to be $1198.99. This for my HP windows 10 computer – do not have one. Had one. Years ago. She advised the serial number of my computer was 7C050707CODA – A as in Obama she said. That my birthday is 4/2/1963. Not even close! Then explained I had to go to CVS and get two Google Play cards for $100 each; give her the 16 digit code on the back (old type scam). She said I would get the $200 back when they deposited $1198.99 in my bank account. She then said she was pulling up my bank info (that was the first time I got real Concerned!) and the money would be put on my Discover card ending in 6102 – not my card. I was then directed to go to CVS, told me 22 miles away!, get the cards and she would call me back in 1hour. The call ended at approx. 3:40p. The phone number on CD is Sacservice XX; 1-521-358-8064. Called back 4:11. I told her I couldn’t get card because I didn’t have enough money on my card. She asked for my ID and password, she would put enough money on my card so I could buy Google cards. Told her I would not divulge my ID and password that it was much too personal etc. She then announced she couldn’t help and hung up.! Bummer – I wanted to help ‘get’ these guys. Well – it’s 4:15 and she has called back. Very insistent on my giving ID/password which I declined to do. Now transferring call to management. Very insistent people – Ifinally told them I wold call them tomorrow (10/31). He also told me I could put it on an ITunes card? Go figure. He did give me a call back number: 571-418-51578.
