I was online on Amazon attempting to order some shoes when I had a pop-up that claimed that my computer was infected with malware and it said they would help me clean it up. I was unable to close to pop-up and decided to call them and they got into my computer and removed the malware but charged me a lot of money saying that I would have to pay even more to fix the issue. After the fact I contacted Apple to look into what was happening and they helped me fix whatever they did but they didn’t charge any money like the business claimed they would be.
