i didnt answer my phone, they left a message stating that i needed to call them to discuss my case in order to avoid appearing before a magistrate or federal judge

They left a voicemail stating to call them back
"To Avoid initial appearance before the magistrate judge or Jury for a federal criminal offense which is against your name on case file….. For more information please call our number that is 202-830-0959."
I called the number back and a woman with an Indian accent answered stating she was Officer Jenny Buds. At that point, I hung up.
