Please see attachment of email scam with instructions on how to finalize the job recruitment for a position with the said company in my attachment. I was emailed with a job offer, I then replied with my interest in finding out more about the job offer. Sheryl then emailed me back with details of the job, the company a link to the company website to read about them and next questions to answer to continue with the job offer. At this point I looked into the company and found out that the phone numbers listed are not valid and I found a few forums talking about the job offer to be a scam but with the name of the email sender different and name of the company a little different as well.

Type of a scam Employment

I was contacted by this company through the job search engine ZipRecruiter.com. The said it was a direct hire and a remote position. They asked me for my information in order to start the hiring process, in which I submitted. Whenever I asked what I felt as if was a legitimate question regarding the position, it was dodged. They sent me a check to deposit into my bank account and asked for me to send a picture of the deposit slip as proof of deposit. I felt as if this was too far and they never gave me an actual start date. I did not deposit the check as I never opened the package. The package was sent back to sender.
