Type of a scam Identity Theft

They blocked my computer with a message stating my computer was in jeopardy of being hacked. My computer was frozen and all I could do was click on Microsoft help. I didn’t realize I could turn my computer off, so I panicked and UNFORTUNATELY I gave them access to my computer thinking they were Microsoft Techs. BIG MISTAKE! I have cancelled my credit card that I gave them access to. I have put a fraud alert on my credit report. And now I’m not sure what else to do. I do not know what the repercussions from this will be, I guess I just have to wait and see. I’m not in a very good position and I am sick over this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
