Type of a scam Business Email Compromise

I answered an email from them after putting in an application on ***. They sent me an interview invite and I accepted it. Long story short they tried to get me to cash a fraudulent check. I called the bank that was on the check after googling the number and they said there was no such account number. I then sent a message back about the account and funds and I have not heard anything back. They were however, consistant when first contacting me. They try to get you comfortable by using the *** website. This is a real site, just not the real people contacting you. I called the company and they said they were having scam problems with these people posing as they are the owners of this company and then they try to get you to cash checks with promise that you get a bonus sign up fee that you keep and they are going to send you a MacBook Pro FedEx overnight. The check comes FedEx or through email and they try to get you for your money. Please be very aware of Mr. Antony Loebel and Mrs. Kathryn D. Moseley doing interviews on hangouts app. They are fake.
