Type of a scam Employment

Received an email regarding an employment opportunity for a used dental equipment company based out of China. Only received emails from [email protected] (research shows minister.com email addresses are linked to several online scams). He offered ample time to make a decision to agree to the terms of employment. At no time was I asked to pay dues or asked for personal information, other than my address. The salary offered was $64,500 annually in the form of a payroll check or in the form of a card. I was instructed to collect funds from consumers and to transfer them to the company via email. I was instructed on how to cash checks from banks by saying I was the owner of a business, and how to transfer them by using prepaid cards then emailing the numbers on the card. The entire time this felt like a scam, luckily, nothing ever came of it.
