this number called 1800 906 9754 was automated telling me the business i work for’s power was going to get shut off unless i paid 429.83 in the next half hour. I got the company credit card out and ready ( number told me it was my local power company). The guy on the other line said because it was a disconnect charge checks and credit cards would not surfice, i had to goto a speedway or circle k and get a money pak to pay over the phone. This did not sound right, so i googled the local electric company, and they told me they had about 15 calls today 8.20.19 already that were scams to get money.

I hope that no one falls for this, at least double check with your local utility company before proceeding.
