They left a message saying action filed for criminal activity against my social security number for criminal activity and law enforcement will immediately suspend your ss if you don’t return the call. I called and someone with accent started talking about being with Medicare something. At that point I told him I hoped he could get a real job helping people instead of trying to scam old people.

Received a call telling me that their had been suspicious behavior associated with my SSN and two addresses in El Paso, TX. Person gave me a case number and an officer’ s name and badge number. Also told me that they had an arrest warrant #. They asked me if I had given my SSN to anyone. They also asked me if I did a lot of on-line shopping. After some time on the phone I asked for more information about the case and why I wasn’t notified in a more official way. They were unable to give me adequate answers and in the end, they said they were forwarding this information to my local law enforcement so they can arrest me. They then hung up the phone.

I called the above number and was connected to "Care One Debt Relief Services". The person who answered the phone said that their number is 888-686-4040. The 800 number must be routed to this 888 number.
