Type of a scam Employment

sent priority mail envelope with check and instructions. No notice given. Told to immediately deposit check into my bank account then pull out all the money except the $170 they were paying me and go to MONEY GRAM location and send to the address given on the text message. Since I was acting as a mystery shopper, I was not to tell anyone that I was acting on anyone’s behalf.

Fortunately, I went to a check cashing place and asked if they could cash the check sent to me in the scam and they would not so I knew it was not a real check.
