Type of a scam Phishing
When I said hello, the caller said, "Hello, my name is Sherry, this conversation is being recorded, can you hear me?" I said, "Yes."
When the phone went dead, I told me husband what had happened and he advised me to report this because there have been warnings of scams using this approach. He said he gets calls frequently and always hangs up or answers with invalid statements. I was totally caught off guard!!!!
