A person who identified herself as Angelina Paul contacted us via email saying she wanted to buy the furniture we posted on kijiji. she told us she will pay via paypal. we received an email from "[email protected]" saying that "angelina paul" sent us $1098 CAD. $498 CAD for the shipment payment. she told us that we have to wire the money ($498) first through moneygram to a shipper she provided before we can get the money from paypal. It was also indicated on the email from onlinepaypalservice. she was very insistent about it, especially in her text messages. we called the post office and paypal about the said transaction because we were suspicious about it. paypal confirmed it was a scam.
