Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I had a car for sale via Cars.com. This man left me a text message first asking me a few questions about the car. I answered his questions and he responded by saying, "OH OkayThanks, I am satisfied with the condition and your answers to my questions, which makes me very interested in making the purchase. I am presently at Pentagon, Washington, DC Air Force Station, and I’ve been here for some time and due to my new job. I won’t be able to come for it, I will have a pickup agent come for it on my behalf, ? I request this transaction be done via PayPal and the PayPal charges are on me, so I will like to proceed with payment. Do let me know if you have a PayPal account? Sgt Dailey". I responded by saying that I need cash or a cashiers check in order to proceed with the purchase of my car. He then responded with saying,"I’m presently at Pentagon, Washington, DC Air Force Station and I can’t vacate the base at the moment so I can only do paypal, You can easily set up a paypal at www. paypal .com. its fast and secure." I responded with a no thank you.
