Type of a scam Yellow Pages/Directories

They called our restaurant stating they were with the seach engines in america. They asked me to clarify our address. Then they sent us an invoice. Their website has nothing on it, and google shows nothing when I search. They are now calling and harrassing our store during business hours asking us to pay this invoice no one asked for or signed up for. They are claiming because I confirmed an address, that is me signing up for a service which I am positive is a scam and it is nothing we want or need.

I’d love advice as I have already sent them a hand written letter the day the invoice arrived stating we did not wish to have any services they were offering. Followed by emails stating we do not want their service. They insist we owe them something, even offering to reduce the price.

I am positive this is a scam, we just need help getting them to stop harrassing us.
