Type of a scam Identity Theft

I recently bought art from a website, advertised on galleries and in message boards on a specific site. I bought the art with a debit card on 12/11/15, for $15 USD, and this morning, 12/24/15, I received a call from my banking company informing me of a purchase I did not make on a website I was/am not familiar with, for around $50 USD. I have made no other questionable purchases with the card recently, only a parking pass for my local college and food items from my job, which leaves this site and likely its owner/operator as the scammer who stole my card number.
