My husband and I were looking forward to a road trip from Colorado to California over the 4th of July weekend. We wanted to visit several national parks on the trip so we decided to rent a small RV. I found RVshare.com on the internet that sounded perfect for our needs. I searched the RVshare.com website and found a small RV. After some initial correspondence on the RVshare.com with the "owner" of the RV, asked for my email address so that "we could communicate directly" to make things easier and faster, so I did. The "owner" sent us some additional information about the RV and a contract through DocuSign. The "owner" also required a $1,000.00 "refundable deposit" and $714.28 for insurance. This was early June, 2018. We were excited! As time drew near for us to pick up the RV communication with the "owner" became next to impossible. On the contractural day of the RV pick-up (June 30, 2018) my husband and son drove to the address in Denver and found NO such address, NO small RV, NO "owner" and a LOSS of $1,714.28. What they did find at the address was a 7-unit apartment building that was for sale. When I reported this to RVshare.com they basically said, "too bad, so sad, there’s nothing we can and/or will do to help you". However, "please do consider us again for your future vacation needs." ABSOLUTELY NO WAY!!
