My Story
Hi there! My name is Rosco, and let me tell you, these ears are something else, right? Just look at them! Aren’t I adorable? Would you believe that someone actually dropped this cute face off in the country and abandoned me? Crazy, huh? Thankfully, a sweet person saw my irresistible charm and called the shelter to come rescue me.
I’m a sprightly two-year-old on the smaller side of medium, which just means I’m the perfect size for all sorts of fun activities. I get along great with other dogs, making friends left and right. I mean, who could resist me?
Now, let me be honest – I absolutely hate being locked in my kennel. It’s like being grounded for no reason! Sometimes, I get so desperate to escape that I try to make a break for it. Freedom is calling, and I just can’t resist! But oh, the joy when I finally get out to run and play. I am the happiest little guy you’ll ever meet when I’m zooming around, ears flopping in the wind.
Attention and affection? Yes, please! I soak up every bit of love I can get. And food? Well, let’s just say I always seem like I’m starving. You see, food wasn’t always a certainty for me, so I tend to act like every meal might be my last. I can’t help it – I’m a foodie at heart!
Despite my rough start, I’m a really sweet boy who just wants a home of his own. A place where I can get all the love, playtime, and treats a dog could dream of. If you’re looking for a lovable, playful companion with a face and ears you can’t resist, then I’m your guy. Come meet me, and let’s make life a whole lot more fun together!Fill out an adoption application online at: https://www.hshcky.org/
