Type of a scam Debt Collections
I’ve rec’d several calls from the Rogers Law Group from an Attorney Paul Santosola claiming I have defaulted on an appearance in the Worcester District Court in 2001, regarding a debt from 1990 now owned by the Norfolk Financial Group out of Kansas City, Mo.
I called Small Claims at the Worc. Court and no such claim exists. Nor am I familiar with the debt.
It looks like these folks move around Mass. and Rhode Island setting up shop to scam people.
I rec’d previous calls from this same group using the 978 and 617 area codes. I’ve been dealing with this for over a year!
I’m afraid to ask for something in writing and give out my address.
This debt never was accounted for by my bankruptcy attorney nor does it show up on my credit reports.
