Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
A check for $*** arrived in the mail. There was NOTHING else in the priority mail envelope to explain the check or why I was receiving it. After researching the company and bank and contacting both by phone and email, I received no information about anything.
I still have no idea who, what, where or why this scam occurred…or how they managed to get my contact information.
