Type of a scam Tech Support
Answered a phone call from British Columbia indicating that the guy did tech support for computers and had obtained my number through Hewlett Packard. He wanted to update Windows & other programs for a fee of ~ $199 for a year. Gave him access to my computer. He wanted me to do a direct bank transfer which made me suspicious. Decided to give him a credit card number, but the transaction was declined. Received a voice message from the bank alerting me to call them. Tech company is Rey Solutions and bank told me the charge originated from Manchester, Spain. The charge was declined. No money lost but now computer now will not properly start.
