Type of a scam Employment

Received a text message from recruiter ‘Anna Johannes’ about a position I applied for via indeed and asked if I had Google Hangouts to conduct an interview about the position. I messaged the number and it was a ‘Luis Roman Jr.’ We had a lengthy interview about a job position that was never mentioned and was told it would be a work from home position with a very high pay rate. After a few minutes he told me I was hired. I became skeptical once he said I would receive a check to purchase my work software and equipment. I did some research and found this same scam has happened on this very day to others. Do not give your personal information!
