Received a letter with a check enclosed. Stated they had troubles contacting us. Had a name and phone # to call to activate the check. Called, spoke with the named individual. Gave him the file #, he said he activated payment of the check. Instructed us to go ahead and deposit the check and call back when we had done so, so they could authorize payment on a larger check of $25000, and make arrangements for them to deliver it in person. Looked up both the corporation on the check, and the bank it was writen on. Neither of them existed. Company on check DYBCORP International LLC PO Box 961217 Ft Worth Tx 76161 Bank was Wells Farge Bank Greensboro NC 27420 Didn’t make since they weren’t from same postal code, so looked them up, No surprise when they came back No info found. Beware!!!! Never called them back, so we never got to the monetary liability for us.
