Publisher’s Clearing House called. I won $2.5 million. He wanted me to go to the bank and get a money order for $496.62. I said I don’t have it. He asked me how much I have. He said it was a fee for FCCI – Federal something. He kept saying it’s not a scam.

I got a call from Don Peterson who said he was with Publisher’s Clearing House. The calls went on for a week. He said I won $2.5 million and a new car. He told me to go to Walmart and buy a money card for $400 because I had to have the check delivered to my state. He wanted to know if I was willing to go on TV when they give me the money, or kept quiet. I said out in the open. he said, "OK that’s your call". He asked if I lived alone. I said yes. He asked what I would do with the money, I said I would build a handicap friendly home for myself. I told him I would not get a money card. He called me an SOB. There was a picture of a girl, Danielle, on a suitcase full of money on Facebook. They said I should go to Walmart and get a money card. I said I’m crippled and don’t drive. When I finally got back to them, they asked why it took me so long. I said Walmart is across town. I heard a man in the background saying "Hang up hang up". He said excuse me. When he came back, he called me an SOB and said I had posted an alert on Facebook telling everyone they are a scam. he said you are4 an SOB and told me to _ myself. One of them had gone on my Facebook because he knew I had a daughter.

I received a call from an automated message around 12:20pm EST on 5-31-19 from a (male voice) alleging to be with Publisher’s Clearing House and that I had won money (a big number). They said to contact agent David Williams 877-335-4805. They gave me a claim number 25122US. It sounded legit the way he described it, he gave some specific certification stuff. The recording voice was very clear.

I received a call from this number and they said they were publisher’s clearing house checking to see if I got the information they sent me. I said I received nothing, was not interested, and hung up. I called the number back out of curiosity and it said I was calling Jamaica.

This is not the real publishers clearing house they sent my elderly grandmother a check for 7,800.00 that was fake if she would have deposited it they would have gotten all of her account information and would have drained her account luckily the bank teller was nice enough to tell her… So anyone gets this do not deposit it into your account it is fraud…

My mother had been contacted via phone by a person representing himself as being from the ScamPulse.com of New York and claims that the BBB in partnership with Publisher’s Clearing House has a reserved prize for the recipient if the recipient will call a designated number to arrange for delivery of the prize. Further investigation with the BBB local chapter (Dayton, Ohio) revealed that no such partnership exists.
