Type of a scam Employment

I was contacted via text message from a Mr. Robert Shack at Prolong Pharmaceuticals. The phone number was 313-356-6487. He said he was contacting me about a Senior Administrative Assistant (virtual) position that was posted on Glassdoor. The position was to pay $31 an hour which was the first red flag. I asked a few questions about benefits, etc. on the text which he replied to with poor grammar and spelling. I called the phone number on the website while this was occurring and went to the prompt where I was able to get his extension number. I tried calling but got no answer. Then I texted him asking to speak directly with him which he then texted back that we could do an online interview on wire.com. I went to the site and it was basically typing questions and getting cryptic answers back. No video conferencing. In researching the company I see where it was listed as an LLC. When I asked what the company was categorized as (i.e. SCorp, LLC, etc) he said none of them. He said the company would supply all of the equipment and all work would be done through a database. I ended the session at that point telling him I knew it was a scam. The website is very convincing and could easily fool someone into believing they are real. They are definitely not.

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I was contacted to my phone that the company is interesting on my resume that they want to set up an interview. After that, they provide me the email of the person who i’m going to have the interview with through Hangout app. This person after asking and talking for a while on hangout, he decided to hire me. Every information that he provided sounds real and he send me the letter of job offer. I did not accept right away but take for one day to think about it. He told me to get back by 8:30 am in the morning the following day. I accepted the job offer the day after the interview and the check of $3000.00 was sent at the same day as well for buying the materials to work from home. He kinda rushing me to deposit the money right a way and go to post office to purchase money order to send it back to the company. However, I was afraid of the check did not go through, so I did not do it. I was waiting for the next day that the check was available to do that. I purchased the money order the day after that when i checked the bank account and see the money was no longer pending. However, my bank account is still keeping the check for investigate before putting the money into my bank account even though it was pending more than 24 hours. I was freak out because I realized that I sent out the money order for them under the account that they provided already. At the same day, they sent me another check of $6850.00 and ordered me to do the same thing. I told them the 1st check did not go through, and i did not deposit anymore check from them. I have to contact my bank to try dispute my transaction.
