I’m confused why would need to go through your company instead of directly to the government Federal Direct Consolidation Program. Is your company just filing paper work, processing the payment and adding your service fee. No this isnt a scam sir. The DOE actually is in charge of my company, what we do here is enroll you into the forgiveness programs that the US government put in place for students that were effected by the school your wife went. We do full student loan debt forgiveness through the William D ford act for all the predatory lending and false promises made . And the payments go directly to the DOE for their services. NOT us the only pay I get is my hourly rate.
